Sally Odgers doesn’t really have two heads. She thinks she probably has five or six, so as to have room for all her ideas, although she sees only one in the mirror.
Sally has been writing since someone taught her how to form letters and when she is extra busy she dreams up new projects. The Charms Project came into being after Sally decided to decorate library bags for her grandchildren by sewing on metal charms. There were so many wonderful charms she started wondering about their stories.
The only problem was, she didn’t have time to write 100 stories herself, so she asked other writers and illustrators along for the ride.
When she’s not Charming, Sally walks dogs, dances (badly), sings (off key), dabbles in the garden, writes books, assesses manuscripts and edits for various clients. Now and then she takes time off to watch a good bug movie.
Sally lives in Tasmania with her husband, Darrel, with whom she co-wrote the Jack Russell: Dog Detective series. They have two grown up children and two grandchildren and rather a lot of dogs, CDs and books.
Sally loves stories, family, music, flowers, names and projects so she’s awfully glad she thought of the Charms Project.
